His bedroom is the small bedroom that used to be the office and then was a guest room. We had never painted our done anything to it before, so it was a blank canvas to start. Here is Daddy painting the accent wall the Chocolate Coco.
The completed Coco wall with the throw pillow in front. Once it dried, Daddy painted the other three walls Brown Teepee. I painted letters J-A-C-K for the nursery. I originally painted them all light blue and painted designs on each letter in dark brown (kinda like the designs I did on Alexa's name sign two years ago), but I didn't like them with patterns - so I repainted them solid blue.

Alexa's Big Girl Bedroom:
The only piece of furniture that stayed in Alexa's room was her chair. Daddy made Alexa a new bookshelf, she has her twin-size bed, we bought her a new [used] dresser and had it painted white, and bought her shelves & frames for her walls. Alexa LOVES her new room!!
The Bathroom:
The guest bathroom upstairs was kinda girly with a blue & purple flower curtain. We had planned on redoing it in a few months since we had just completed so much other work (and spent a good deal of money) on other rooms in the house preparing for Jack's arrival. However, over Labor Day weekend Noni & Papa generously bought all the things we needed to transform the bathroom to one of Alexa's favorite characters... the timeless, classic, gender-neutral Mickey Mouse :)
I cannot put into words how much Alexa adores this new bathroom! Every time she is using the potty she points and identifies, "Mickey shower curtain. Mickey floor mat. Mickey garbage can. Mickey towel." And then she always says, "Thanks, Noni & Papa!"
The Playroom:
I already mentioned in previous posts that we moved the computers upstairs into the living room so that we could remove the gate and give the children the entire basement (instead of only half of it) to play in. It is HUGE now!!
It is so nice to have an organized, safe haven for our children to play, learn, and explore! We plan on filling the room with a table & chair set eventually and few other surprises (you'll have to wait until Alexa's birthday to find out!)... we are beyond blessed to have the space in our home to have a room like this!
