The Playroom

After months of work, here is the Playroom:

Dan putting in insulation.

The "before" picture. Pat & Dan installing the lights.

Dan doing more insulation. Dan & Pat hanging drywall.

More drywall hanging... and it's all up!

The ceiling after it was taped, mudded, and sanded. Dan beginning to paint the walls blue (for the "sky" part of the Playroom).

What a beautiful blue sky! I made signs for all four seasons.

Finishing up the Autumn sign. My signs after Dan & Uncle Ken hung them up.

The Playroom all done, for now... when Alexa gets a little bit bigger, we are going to get the green outdoor carpet to put in the center of the room, and we are going to put a kids' table & chair set on top of it. Oh, and we still need to put in the bookshelf.

Yes, George the gorilla finally made it to Dublin... no picture do him justice - he is huge.

We love the Playroom - how it looks, the freedom it gives us, the safety it gives Alexa... it was a lot of work and cost us a pretty penny, but it is so worth it! Ciao.

Cool playroom! That monkey is huge, I'll bet he makes a comfortable pillow. It looks like it was a lot of work, but you guys did a great job. How lucky that your father-in-law knows how to hang dry wall and do electrical work!
