YAY - Soy Formula!

After speaking with Dr. Jacob yesterday, I gave Alexa some Similac Isomil (soy formula). She had a total of 4.5 oz and didn't wake up vomiting! YAY! So we are going to stick with soy formula - my friend, Wendee, says that's all she gave her son and he went on to drink milk at one year no problems. I'm hoping this "lactose intolerance" (if you will) is something she will grow out of! Thank you all for your prayers!!!

Here are some pics and videos (for those of you that love "seeing AND hearing Alexa in action") from the past few days:

We usually read a few stories in the morning (and then more in the afternoon and evening). Alexa really tries hard to eat her books!

She doesn't always grunt and groan during tummy time - just when I get the camera out, lol.

Enjoying a beautiful afternoon outdoors. Then, we came in to play.

Daddy got home from work and put Alexa to work - teaching her how to pick up her belly to crawl.

She was able to hold up for a few seconds but then fell.

Alexa had just rolled over from her back to her stomach, so I grabbed the camera, and of course we couldn't get her to do it again! She only does "cool stuff" when the paparazzi is not around :-)

Today is a yucky day - rainy and chilly. I thought it was June, not April. In fact, it was four years ago today that Dan asked me to be his wife :-) Awww. Hope everyone is having a great week! Ciao.
